1What is bitcoin?

Bitcoin is a digital currency created in 2009, based mainly on a self-published paper by Satoshi Nakamoto. Bitcoin enables rapid payments (and micropayments) at very low cost, and avoids the need for central authorities and issuers.

2How does it work?

We take cash deposits on one side and bitcoin deposits on the other side of the trade, then we allow our customers to exchange their cash for bitcoins or vice versa.

3How to start?

It's easy, fast and free to open an account. Click open an account, fill out the form, then you have to fund your account. Select a type of deposit you wish to make. There are two main choices. Bitcoins you wish to sell or currency you wish to spend on buying bitcoins.

4How does limit order work?

When you place a limit order you decide what price you wish to pay or get. Your order will then be added to the order book and will be waiting for someone to accept it.

5How does stop order work?

When you place a stop order you set an entry/exit price point. Once the price surpasses the predefined entry/exit point, the stop order becomes a market order. You can check the "Trailing stop" option if you wish to automatically track the bitcoin's price direction and reposition the active stop order.

6What is order book?

Order book is a list of all open sell and buy orders at the moment. You can buy or sell bitcoins at those prices instantly.

7How much does it cost?

SrBitcoin charges a trading fee from each party of successful trades made through the market. The amount of the fee will vary based on a 30 day trading history. The rate for new accounts and those with the lowest volume is 0.25%. Refer to the fee schedule to determine discount levels.

8Is it safe to use SrBitcoin?

Yes! Our main priority is to keep clients personal data safe and secure. We take great precautions around security of our system and are constantly monitoring for any suspicious activities, however we cannot provide security for bitcoins stored on users computer, so it is important to take additional steps to ensure that your bitcoin wallet remains protected from users other than yourself.

9How long does deposit usually take?

A bank wire transfer typically takes 2-5 and SEPA transfer 1-3 business days to reach your Cripto Zoo account. In case you choose SEPA deposit to be added to USD balance, it must go through additional step of converting funds to USD.

10Who pays the withdrawal fee?

Not regarding to withdrawal method, a fee will be displayed before executing the withdrawal and deducted from amount. SEPA withdrawals are charged with fixed 0.90€ fee once your funds are converted to EUR. In case the withdrawal is requested to be deducted from EUR balance, no currency conversion will be done. Minimum amount for SEPA withdrawal is $10.00. International withdrawals are charged with 0.09% fee, minimum fee is $15.00. Minimum amount for international withdrawal is $50.00.

11How long does withdrawal usually take?

SEPA zone transfers usually take 2-3 business days. For clients outside SEPA zone it takes up to 5 business days.

12What is a third party withdrawal?

Third party withdrawals are defined as those withdraws which are meant to be transferred to account or financial institution that is titled in a name that is different from registered SrBitcoin account. Transfers to corporate bank accounts may require further KYC checking.

13How do I change my email address?

Users cannot change their email address by themselves. If you wish to change your current email address, we kindly ask our users to contact support for further assistance.

14Can I deposit funds from a bank account other than my own?

We are unable to process third party transfers. All transfers to and from your SrBitcoin account must be paid from or be received by a bank account held in your name.

15I have an account at an EU bank. Can I deposit USD through SEPA?

Please note that all SEPA transfers are strictly denominated in EUR. We will receive SEPA transfers in EUR. In case you choose SEPA deposit to be added to USD balance, it must go through additional step of converting funds to USD.

16Bitcoin withdrawal

To withdraw Bitcoins go to “Withdrawal” and select “Bitcoin” on the side menu. Enter the withdrawal address, the sum of BTC to be withdrawn and click “Withdraw”.

17Bitcoin deposit

To deposit bitcoins click “Deposit” in the main menu and select “Bitcoin” on the left side menu. You should see your permanent bitcoin address for deposits to your SrBitcoin account.

You can request a new deposit address every 24 hours.

18How long do I need to wait for my bitcoin deposit?

We require 3 network confirmations, it may take up to 1 hour for the bitcoin network to confirm the transaction. SrBitcoin also supports BitGo's Instant deposit. BTC transfers via BitGo Instant feature to SrBitcoin will be done with 0 network confirmations.
